Preparing for Worship | June 19th, 2016

Dear Church,

Note: we have no 11am service this Sunday as we have a special meeting with our pastoral search consultants at 10:45am

After listening to the congregation, the board, and praying and listening to God, Pastors Tom and Todd, and the rest of the staff have all sensed a healthy energy and urgency to catalyze action for mission and outreach. To respond to this call we will focus our Sunday morning sermons this summer around the book of Acts as a model for spirt-led church growth. It is an exciting time at TCC.  Join us!

Sunday June 19th, 2016
“OutReach: Growing Pains”
Dr. Tom Peter, Interim Pastor
Acts 2:42-47; 6:1-7

Is growth always easy? When we face obstacles and difficulty does that mean we are out of step with God, or are obstacles a natural part of growth? Join us at 9:30am as we consider these questions, worship, and encounter God together.

Songs we’ll sing:

Heart with Loving Heart United | music and lyrics
Psalm 117 (Praise the Lord) | listen on bandcamp
Lord I Need You | listen on spotify | lyrics
How Long? | listen on spotify | lyrics
God of Grace and God of Glory | lyrics

This Sunday we will also recognize our graduating seniors, welcome new members that have gone through our membership process into our congregation, and thank our Student Ministries intern, Bex Rowlands as she heads to Chicago for her next ministry position.

Finally, two representatives from Agora Search Group will attend our service and hold a special meeting at 10:45am to discuss the pastoral search process.

It’s going to be an exciting Sunday at TCC. Hope you can join us!
